School Uniform
At Hillcroft Primary School, we endeavour to achieve a high standard in all our activities at school and expect this to be reflected in both the appearance and behaviour of our pupils. We believe that uniform provides children with a sense of pride in their school.
All children must have full school uniform, worn correctly, for daily attendance at school, and for when participating in a school organised event. Please ensure that all articles of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.
If a parent is in financial difficulties, and this results in a child not having the correct uniform, we will do all we can to support the parent, please speak to a member of the Leadership team.
We do not allow children to wear jewellery to school, an exception being small stud earrings in pierced ears, these must be removed during all PE lessons. Watches are also acceptable (not SMART watches or anything that disrupts the learning).
We have ensured that our uniform policy and list includes options for generic or specific for every item. Please see below:

Nursery uniform requirements:
We do not have specific uniform requirements for nursery children. Where possible, we encourage children to wear Hillcroft Primary School items to foster a sense of community and identity. The most important factor in considering Nursery uniform is that children are:
- Confident and comfortable when coming to school
- Are able to be independent
- Can seamlessly transition indoor/outdoor for continuous education provision
