Nursery Admissions
A child is eligible for admission to a nursery class in Hillcroft Primary School from the age of 3.
From September 2017 most working parents of 3 and 4 year olds will be eligible for an extra 15 hours of free childcare a week, term time. Added to their current universal entitlement of 15 hours, this means that their free early education entitlement will increase to a total of 30 hours a week, term time.
We operate 3 nursery sessions:
- Monday and Tuesday 8.30am - 3.00pm and Wednesday morning 8.30am - 11.15am - totalling 15 hours
- Wednesday afternoon 12.30pm - 3.00pm and Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm - totalling 15 hours
- All five days (Monday to Friday) 15 hours funded + additional 15 hours funded (subject to eligibility) - 8.30am - 3.00pm daily totalling 30 hours
