Results
In line with national expectations, Hillcroft conducts statutory tests at the following points during the children's time at school:
Early Years and Foundation Stage;
Year 1 Phonics Screening;
Year 4 Multiplication Check;
End of Key Stage 2 (SATs).
In 2017 the new, more challenging national curriculum was assessed by new tests and interim frameworks for teacher assessment. Results are no longer reported as levels. Each pupil receives their test results as a scaled score, as well as teacher assessment based on the standards in the newly published Teacher Assessment Frameworks. These assess children against a national standard, and reflect the new Primary Curriculum introduced in 2014.
